3D tennis

MotionSports

Step into your sports moment.

MotionSports is a 3D sports game for the MotionPad mat, and right now you can play tennis. You don't mimic a swing, and it doesn't measure strength. Read the incoming ball, get into position early, then use a direction to choose where the ball goes and time your return. Play against the computer, or two players can face off on the same mat.

Setting up and stepping on the mat

Setting up

Where to step

A quick step hits the ball. Step and hold to move. When the ball comes your way, your player is carried to where it can be hit. Step and hold toward the ball to sprint and get into position early.

When you hit, the direction sets where the ball lands: left aims at your opponent's left half, right at the right half, front goes deep, and back drops it short. The better your timing, the faster the ball and the closer it lands to the line.

Who it's for

Two-player matches

Duel is what makes this game special: each player gets a cross, and you rally back and forth on the same screen.

First-time players

Easy is designed so first-timers can pick it up, and it's the default if you haven't chosen a level. Practice lets you learn one stage at a time.

Families

Great for the whole family to play together, at any age.

Scores and records

After each match, you'll see numbers like shots hit, PERFECT hits, return rate, longest rally, and top ball speed. Sports records are split into Player 1 and Player 2, with matches played, wins, best rally, and recent matches.

Records stay on this phone. Numbers like active time and hit count are game records, not a medical or health assessment. The game doesn't show calories, heart rate, or step counts.

Before you play

  • Clear the space around the mat. Move furniture, pets, and anything fragile out of the way.
  • Lay the mat flat on a non-slip floor. Wear non-slip indoor shoes or go barefoot. Don't play in socks alone.
  • If your phone is on the floor, be careful not to step on or kick it.
  • If you feel unwell, dizzy, or in pain, stop and rest right away.
  • When several people play together, keep some distance to avoid bumping into each other.

FAQ

More questions: redeeming, warranty, switching phones
What can I play without signing in or redeeming?
You can play tennis singles against the computer on the mat. Redeem your bundle serial code to unlock everything. Games are played on the mat only; there's no touch-screen gameplay.
Do I need to know how to play tennis?
No. Your steps only need the right direction and timing. It doesn't measure strength, and you don't need to mimic a swing. Your first time, it walks you through how to play.
Do two players need two mats?
No. Split one mat into two crosses for a two-player match: Player 1 uses the four yellow corner tiles, and Player 2 uses the four black side tiles.
How do I choose my serve?
Step after the toss: left for a wide serve, right for a serve down the T, front for a power serve, and back for a safer spin serve. Easy has only a first serve. Normal and Hard have first and second serves.
Is the opponent AI?
The opponent is the computer. It decides how to play based on what it can see (the ball's path, your position, and the score), with three difficulty levels.

One bundle, all four games
