How to play

No fiddly pairing. Just step on and play! MotionPad sends each step as a high-frequency sound, so the mat and your phone don't need Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi pairing. Lay out the mat, set up your phone, and step along with the screen. Setup varies by game, and the app guides you through it.

Step on a sensor and it gives off a high-pitched sound most people can't hear. Your phone's microphone picks it up and knows which square it was.

Games are played with your feet on the mat only. There's no touch-screen gameplay, but you can tap through the menus by hand.

Full redemption guide

  1. Download an app

    Download any one of the apps for free (coming soon). Without signing in, you can try some of the basic content on the mat.

  2. Sign in with Google or Apple

    Sign in when you're ready to unlock all four. The screen shows the account to link. Nothing is linked until you confirm.

  3. Scan your serial card

    Scan the QR code on your serial card or enter the 16-character serial code.

  4. All four games unlock

    Once redeemed, you can play offline. The app still needs to verify online from time to time, and reminds you when it's time.

Can I play with my fingers on the screen?
No. Games are played with your feet on the mat only. You can tap through menus and settings by hand.
Do I need to buy the four games separately?
No. Each bundle comes with one serial code. Redeem it once in any of the apps and all four games unlock. Pay once, no subscription.
How many phones at home can play?
Unlocked games can be played on any device by signing in with the same account. There's no device limit.
Can I play without internet?
Yes. You need to be online the first time you redeem your serial code. After that, you can play offline. Your license needs to verify online from time to time, and the app reminds you when it's needed.
Are my scores uploaded?
Scores are stored only on your phone, and you can export them yourself. Only when you choose Generate AI review and confirm is a stats summary of that game sent (without names).
I have a mat, but my account has no license. What can I do?
Even without a license, you can play some of the basic content in each game on the mat. Licenses are tied to the account that redeemed them and don't go with the mat. To unlock all four games on your own account, purchase an Extra Account (Price TBA) in any of the apps.
