Family mini-games, rhythm training

MotionPad Arcade

15 mini-games, plus rhythm training set to songs.

Every game is short, with rules you get at a glance: stand on the mat and step when you see the cue. Each one has Easy, Normal, and Hard levels. Easy is made for older adults, beginners, and anyone on the mat for the first time. The results screen is all encouragement. You'll never see a red X or the word "fail."

Setting up and stepping on the mat

Setting up

Where to step

The 3×3 grid on screen matches the grid under your feet: whichever square lights up or has a mole pop up, step on that square. Standing on the rest square in the center doesn't trigger anything. New players start with a short warm-up to learn where each square is.

Games are played with your feet on the mat only. You can tap through menus and settings by hand.

Games included

All 15 mini-games are in the Games lobby. Rhythm training has its own card on the home screen.

  • Cake Slice

When a dessert reaches the outer ring, step in the right direction to slice the cake.

  • Whack-a-Mole

Step when a mole pops up. After you lift your foot, step again before time runs out.

  • Fire Squad

Follow the arrows step by step to put out the fires. A wrong step doesn't skip ahead. Just step on the right square to keep going. For fun only, not fire or safety training.

  • Rainbow Recall

Remember the order the squares light up, then step on them in the same order. Each level adds one more square.

  • Beat Steps

Follow the metronome and step in the right direction the moment the cue lands in the square.

  • Red Light

On green, step on the lit square. On red, freeze. If you move, the round starts over.

  • Fruit Catch

Fruit falls down the left, middle, and right lanes. Step on the matching bottom-row square to catch it as it lands.

  • Duo Steps

The parent stands on the left and the child on the right. In co-op mode, light up a picture together. In mirror mode, one leads and the other follows.

    2 at once

  • Paw Trail

Follow the footprints left by little animals, one step at a time.

  • Number Hop

Solve the problem on screen, like 3 + 4, then step on the square with the answer. The 3×3 grid is your number pad.

  • Color Step

When a color is called, step on that color's square. On Hard, go by the word, not the color it's shown in.

  • Water the Flowers

Stand on the lit flowerpot square until the flower blooms. If you feel unsteady, use both feet. That counts too.

  • Tea House

Step on the toppings each customer wants, stand on the lit square to shake the drink, then serve it.

  • Coffee Bar

Step on the coffee beans as they roll by to drop them into the cup. Let the orange shell bits roll past.

  • Ice Parlor

Step on a customer's square to take the order, step in place on the mixing square, then bring the treat to the customer.

  • Rhythm

Notes fall down three lanes in time with the song. Step on the matching square when a note reaches the circle, and hold long notes until they end. Each song is about 90–120 seconds, and your first time starts with a tutorial.

Who it's for

Anyone who likes it simple

Short rules you can pick up from the pictures. The results screen only talks about what you did, and "New record!" appears only when a player beats their own best.

Older adults and beginners

Every game has an Easy level for older adults, beginners, and anyone on the mat for the first time.

Families taking turns

At the start, choose who's playing. Everyone gets their own player profile with an animal avatar. No passwords, and records stay separate. Duo Steps lets two people play at once.

Scores and records

You'll see your score at the end of every round. The Records page shows how many rounds and minutes you played this week, your best scores, and a trend of your last 10 rounds. You can also export a CSV or PDF report.

Records stay on this phone; only when you generate an AI review and confirm is a stats summary of that game sent. The measures in your records are only a general reference for family exercise, not a medical assessment. Reaction times include device and display delay.

AI summary (optional)

On the results screen, you can ask AI to write a short take on the round based on its stats. Only that round's stats and measures are sent. No names, recordings, or step-by-step data. Choose an AI source in Settings (none is selected by default): AI credits bought in the app, and we'll call the model for you; Armor EdgeAI on your local network, paired by scanning a QR code; or your own OpenAI-compatible server. Nothing is sent until you tap Generate AI review and confirm. If AI isn't available, the app uses a built-in template.

What you need

MotionPad mat

The 3×3 mat from the bundle. All four games share it, so you don't need to buy another.

Phone or tablet

Place your phone or tablet 1–3 m (3–10 ft) in front of the mat. Keep the microphone clear of cases and stands.
